Ectar (voiced by Michael McConnohie) is the Spectral Knights' detective (making it unusual that the figure of him is smiling, when one expects a police detective to look serious).
His weapon is a claw, his totem is a fox and his replacement for a power staff is the Lancer Cycle vehicle. It has hands that show up in its roof which protect him from the Darkling Lords' attacks.

In the episode The Age of Magic Begins as well as in the comic book adaption titled The End..., it is Ectar who first names the Darkling Lords, after which Darkstorm decides to keep the name for himself and his compatriots.
